| 520 West Residential Flat building |
Starting with the residential flat building, the renders are done as
montages, with site context and people. This is a form of
post-production visualisation. Her design is interesting and conveyed
well through her visuals. The glass facade is rendered well with the
external lighting, shadows and reflections. The internal lights are also
simple, and sufficient.
Her renders are of both day and night and thus give the client a good idea of its potential on the streetscape.
In some of her images however, the post production work of adding people
and cars, their scale and positioning look a bit off and thus emphasize
the fabrication of the image. In my opinion, renders and post
production work should look as real as possible and this is what I hope
to achieve in my work by the end of the semester.
Her Beethoven Hall on the other hand takes a different style of
visualisation.
Since the submission was for a competition, she took the
more conceptual approach, which in my opinion has done well.
Her images emphasize the play of natural light and shadows.
Since it is
shown in each of her renders it can be seen as an important aspect to
her design. Her site context image, in my opinion is the best image in
this projects gallery. This is because it shows how the internal lights
of the building affect and interact with the surroundings.
